Prime Minister’s First Flight on Voyager

Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, took his first trip on Op VESPINA, taking him to his first G7 Summit, hosted by President Macron in Biarritz, France 24 – 26 August.

This was the PM’s first major international meeting of world leaders since entering office in July 2019. Boris has previously flown the aircraft in his capacity as Foreign Secretary.

Whilst sipping his coffee the Prime Minister held a Press Conference, welcoming political correspondents onto the “wonderful Voyager” before fielding questions regarding the G7 Agenda.

Coffee in one hand, briefing note in the other, Britain’s new Prime Minister set out his aims for the G7 gathering of world leaders, discussing with journalists his agenda for the G7, Brexit, the Amazon rainforest fires and the threat of a global economic downturn.
