AirTanker is proud to announce the launch of its brand-new cabin crew uniform, rolling out from 11 July 2025. This fresh look marks a significant evolution, reflecting commitment to diversity, sustainability, and the wellbeing of our people.

After over a decade with its previous uniform, AirTanker recognised the opportunity to modernise the design and approach. The new uniform is the product of close collaboration with crew members, who shared their insights and helped shape a collection that is as comfortable as it is stylish.

Central to the redesign is a move away from traditional gender-specific styles. Instead, the uniform offers a flexible wardrobe that allows crew to choose what suits them best – empowering individuality while maintaining a professional, cohesive appearance.

In addition to championing personal expression, the uniform update embraces sustainability. Many garments are made from recycled materials, underscoring AirTanker’s wider environmental commitments. To ensure a responsible transition, the company has partnered with charities to recycle and repurpose legacy uniforms, minimising waste.

AirTanker has also updated its appearance policies to support crew self-expression, allowing visible tattoos, piercings, and a broader range of hairstyles and makeup styles, reflecting the diverse identities of its people.

Key features of the new uniform include:

• A non gendered design approach, giving crew the freedom to choose what they wear based on fit and preference
• An updated appearance policy allowing for individuality within the crew from tattoos, piercings, to hairstyles and make-up
• The use of recycled materials in many garments
• Subtle, bespoke design elements, including branded lining and buttons, including a versatile colour palette across the collection.

The new uniform will begin rolling out across our operations from 11 July 2025.
