In an Emergency
Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre (JCCC)
The JCCC provide Management of British armed forces casualties and compassionate cases 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year when an SR is deployed. Should an immediate family member of the Sponsored Reservist i.e. parents, spouse, partner, children or Legal Guardians experience life threatening, serious illness, urgent compassionate situations or worse the following number should be called:
Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre (JCCC)
The JCCC representative will listen to your emergency situation, ask questions, take notes and contact details, and inform you that they must confidentially pass on the information to other support agencies, including AirTanker Services, so that the incident may be dealt with appropriately.
Conversley, should an SR casualty occur, their nominated emergency contact and next of kin will be informed. The JCCC or AirTanker Services may be able to approve the travel of next of kin to the bedside of a casualty if appropriate.
