Cobham - SupportOur civilian pilots and engineers have unparalleled aircraft-type experience developed in service with leading commercial airlines. This expertise is being shared in the workplace and in support of operations through AirTanker’s Sponsored Reserves programme, which mobilises AirTanker employed pilots and engineers as RAF Reserves alongside the Voyager Squadrons. 

Operations are supported by a highly experienced flight operations team, with civilians working alongside RAF personnel in support of civilian and military tasking. 

A civilian cabin crew  

Voyager CivilianAirTanker has recruited a team of civilian cabin crew as part of its own airline operation. Providing a charter-type service, the cabin crew team is based at RAF Brize Norton, flying to destinations including Akrotiri, Calgary, Ascension Island and the Falklands. 

Military passengers make-up the largest passenger user grouping, with AirTanker cabin crew providing standard charter services.
