Our apprenticeships
AirTanker is delighted to be providing opportunities to become a part of our unique company, supporting the Royal Air Force and Commercial Airlines, through apprenticeship schemes across a variety of departments and skill zones.
We commenced our first apprenticeship scheme in 2016 within Fleet Engineering, offering an initial accredited two-year apprenticeship and an additional two-year development phase that provides apprenticeships with specialist hand skills, fault diagnosis capabilities and experience of maintenance practices associated with complex aircraft mechanical and avionics systems. The 2017 intake commences in September.
In 2017 we introduced our Finance Apprenticeship scheme offering the opportunity to work towards the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 4 diploma nationally recognised qualification and our 2018 IT apprenticeship scheme working within our busy Information Systems & Technology team.
In 2018 we launched our Business Support Apprenticeship in collaboration with Swindon College, which allows candidates the opportunity to experience and develop knowledge in many disciplines across the business, from Human Resources to Commercial, Programmes, Communications and many more.
