AirTanker is pleased to have welcomed the first of the C130 aircraft into its hangar under a contract signed on the 11 July 2011 with the Ministry of Defence (MOD) to provide facilities for the maintenance of its C130 aircraft. Up to two C130 aircraft can be maintained under the contract which will provide temporary line maintenance for a 16 month period. This agreement demonstrates a flexible approach to the RAF customer and enables the utilisation of facilities within the hangar prior to the Introduction to Service of the Voyager aircraft at RAF Brize Norton.
