You’ve probably got some questions you’d like to ask us. Hopefully, you’ll find the answers here. If not, contact us – we’ll do everything we can to answer it.

Q1. What is the recruitment process?

The recruitment process varies depending on which vacancy you apply for. However, you should expect at a minimum a two-stage interview with a line manager and a member of the HR team. A psychometric test and/or presentation on a specific topic may be required to help us measure your suitability to the role and company.

Q2. What are the working hours?

Subject to the role, you will normally work 8-30am to 5-00pm, with an hour for lunch. We normally finish at 4.30pm on a Friday afternoon.

Q3. What benefits would I be entitled to?

This is dependent on your job grade. However, to find out your standard entitlements, visit our benefits page.

Q4. What permits do I need to apply?

You must be eligible to work in the UK and security cleared to SC level before your first day (this process will be facilitated via AirTanker).

Q5. Is there a limit to the number of jobs I can apply for?

There is no limit whatsoever. However, we recommend that you think carefully about your chosen role or roles, and ensure that your skill set and experience are suitable.

Q6. Can I withdraw my application if I change my mind?

Yes, you may. All you’ll need to do is contact us and your application will be withdrawn.

Q7. Will I get a parking space?

Yes, there is ample on-site parking outside the offices.

Q8. What qualities do you look for in your candidates?

Results oriented, customer focused, positive, safety conscious people who are passionate about what they do.

Q9. How will my performance be appraised?

During an annual Performance Development Review (PDR), employees have the opportunity to sit down with their line manager and discuss their performance against set objectives, identified training needs and goals for the following year.

Q10. Will I get any training?

Every employee is entitled to the correct training for their role, the requirements of which will be agreed with the line manager as part of a performance appraisal meeting.

Q11. What induction can I expect?

Your employment will begin with an induction, where our key stakeholders will broadly explain the business. Thereafter, your role will be explained in full by your line manager.

Q12. What if I need to relocate?

Every case will be reviewed in its own right. Should relocation be awarded, this will be according to the Relocation Policy.

Q13. If I have a disability, how will this be handled?

Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate any disability.
