The first A330-200 Future Strategic Tanker Aircraft (FSTA) for the Royal Air Force has rolled out of Airbus Military’s hangar in Getafe, Madrid following the completion of indoor testing and conversion activity. The final phase of conversion work – including outdoor testing – will now be completed before the aircraft is handed over to the Flight Test Team for First Flight, which is expected to be in September 2010.
